Our “Misty Rose" - fitted and flared woman's coat with pleated back - is adorned with a delightful pink garden rose pattern on a teal blue background. Embrace the feminine allure with a form-fitted top, accentuated waistline, and a full skirt with pleats at the back, and a voluminous hood. The model is 1,68m (5'6”) tall and wearing size XS.

Coat details:

  •  form-fitted top, accentuated waistline, and a full skirt with pleats at the back,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • adjustable hood,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in bright pink,
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 100cm (39.4in) for size XXS up to 103cm (40.5in) for size 3XL,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

Material

Fitted and Flared Coat with Pleated Back in Blue and Pink

All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.

Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell. 

Light shell fabric

Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer four styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black' and 'Powder Dream'.  

Soft shell fabric

Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided. 

 

Care

  • Professional dry clean

          OR

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      This is by far the Loveliest raincoat I have ever owned.
      It is perfect for the Australian winter and is just a great weight; not too heavy or too light .

      Stunning "any day" coat!

      This raincoat (any day coat!) is absolutely stunning in design, functionality and fit! A work colleague wore one and I immediately fell in love with it. She is short and I am tall, and when I saw online that RainSisters actually makes coats in regulars, petites and talls I was SOLD. The only challenge was deciding which style and fabric from so many lovely choices. Thank you for crafting this lasting piece of functional art! For reference, 5'10", 144lbs, chest 36 D and the M Tall was perfect.

      I fell in love with the designs the moment I saw the add on Insta. Then I spent a lot of time choosing THE ONE and making sure I pick the right size. The size chart and especially the coat measurements were very helpful. I'm 159 and 60 kg, and I picked the size S petite. The ordering process and delivery were very smooth and super fast. The communication and tone of voice were so caring and lovely. When the coat arrived, I was over the moon. The quality of the coat turned out to be great! It looked even better than on the photos.
      As for the sizing, S was a perfect fit for me, except for the waistline which was on a tight side. What I like, is that the coat has plenty of space under the armpits and fits amazing in the chest. Yet the pockets could be a bit bigger.
      Because of the tightness in the waist, I spent lots of time considering sizing up. In the end, I just tried the coat on all the dresses and sweaters I have and noticed that I could close it even on the bulkier ones, so I kept it. But if you like freedom and bulky sweaters, I will definitely agree with other commenters and size up.
      Overall, I loved everything about the store and the products and I will definitely recommend it to others.

      This coat is stunningly gorgeous. The fit is perfect, the pleats at the back make it flow when you walk, the colours are amazing. I feel wonderful when I wear it. I really didn't want to buy an expensive raincoat but I'm so glad I have this. Unbelievable quality, the lining is so luxurious and the hood is flattering. I highly recommend Misty Rose to anyone who can't stop thinking about it!

      Gorgeous and perfect fit

      I love EVERYTHING about this jacket. The pattern is gorgeous, it is warm, it is a beautiful fit, completely functional (tested it in the rain on day one), and true to size. The returns and exchange policy is so good and straightforward - I mis-measured and needed to exchange a size up. I'm 5'2" and UK size 10 and the Medium Petite fits perfectly.
