Our “Misty Rose" - fitted and flared woman's coat with pleated back - is adorned with a delightful pink garden rose pattern on a teal blue background. Embrace the feminine allure with a form-fitted top, accentuated waistline, a full skirt with pleats at the back, and a voluminous hood. The model is 1,68m (5'6”) tall and wearing size XS.

Coat details:

  • form-fitted top, accentuated waistline, and a full skirt with pleats at the back,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • adjustable hood,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in bright pink,
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 100cm (39.4in) for size XXS up to 103cm (40.5in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm),

Material

Fitted and Flared Coat with Pleated Back in Blue and Pink

This coat is made from membrane fabric that is water-resistant (10,000 mm), breathable (5,000 gsm), and windproof. The fabric composition is 94% polyester and 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS was used during the fabric production process.

Please note: The water resistance rating of 10,000 mm means the coat can withstand light rain or snow for 1-2 hours or a moderate shower for about 30 minutes. This coat is not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Softshell fabric

This coat is made from softshell fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer, which makes this style more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining, a high-quality, extra soft, and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) is used. The lining agrees to the OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle, the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided.

      It's a beautiful and useful coat.

      I love it. The size fits perfectly. Nevertheless, there are some caviats. If you want the coat to fit you perfectly your size, then go for that size. But if you want some extra room to put a sweater under, specially during cool days, then you need a size up. I initially bought XS and it fits well if I'm only with a blouse or shirt. But it was too tight with a sweeter. So I went a size up, size S, and this one works fine for me. It doesn't shape me as good as the other, but it works for what I need which is to keep warm and dry.
      Also, the coat stily is beautiful. I love the colors and design.

      I’m obsessed!

      This is my second RainSisters coat and I LOVE both of them. The first one I purchased fits pretty snug so I chose to size up for this one so I can wear bigger sweaters underneath during the winter and it’s perfect. I wore it to Chicago for a conference in December and stayed very comfortable. I receive lovely comments every time I wear either coat and always talk them up because I’m so impressed by their designs, quality, and “Bonus”: the shipping was fantastically quick. It’s hard not to want to buy a third coat…. Maybe someday!

      As beautiful as I’d hoped

      This is one of the most expensive clothing items I’ve bought and I’m so glad it was worth it. I found everyone else’s size comments helpful to work out which to buy. I’m a UK 10, 5 ft 3 and ordered a Small which fits perfectly with space for a jumper too. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

      Stunning raincoat in sunny Los Angeles

      It barely rains in Los Angeles. Yet, I live to wear my stunning coat. It makes a perfect outfit which shines in sunny California!

      Best purchase ever

      I gifted myself this coat for my birthday in June this year. OMG, is by far the best gift I have given to myself. It is beautiful, I feel like a princess in it. But it is also functional for rain and cold. I live in The Netherlands, a country well known for its rainy weather, it i perfect for biking, it cuts also the wind. The hood is very adaltable and perfect to protect my glassess, mostly when biking. This raincoat not only protects me, but also brings a bit of colour in grey days. I have received so many looks and compliments, that I feel my energy boosted every time I wear it. The pockets are also deep enough to carry my phone, cards, lipstick and keys :) In sum, I loved it so much I gifted myself another one for Christmas :D
