Which countries do you ship to?
We offer worldwide shipping, and for orders over 200 EUR the shipping is free. However, customs duties may apply depending on your country’s customs policy.
At the moment, we cannot ship to Russia and Belarus.

How long does the shipping take?
We process all orders within 1–5 business days, and shipping usually takes between 2–5 business days. Please take into consideration that during the holiday season, the delivery process may take slightly longer than usual.
We also offer express shipping options for an additional 15 EUR. With express shipping, you will receive your order within 3 business days. If you would like to use express shipping option, please email support@rainsisters.com, and an invoice will be sent to you. -

How can I track my order?
As soon as we dispatch your order, you will automatically receive the tracking number via email. However, please make sure to provide your email when placing the order. If you didn’t have a chance to add it, feel free to contact us at support@rainsisters.com, and we will be happy to provide you with the tracking details.

How much does the shipping cost?
For all orders over €200, the shipping is free. Otherwise, the shipping cost may depend on your location, but on average it ranges from €15 to €30.
Please note, that depending on your location, customs duties or taxes may apply in accordance with the rules set by your country.

Will I need to pay duties and taxes?
For customers outside the European Union (EU), additional customs duties or taxes may apply in accordance with the rules set by your country.
If you are shipping to Norway, a customs handling fee is payable at checkout to avoid duties and taxes upon import.
For deliveries to the UK, there should not be any customs fees or taxes, even though you are based outside the EU. However, we cannot guarantee this entirely, as customs misunderstandings occasionally occur. If that happens, please email support@rainsisters.com, and our team will be happy to assist.
Returns & Exchanges

Do you offer exchanges?
If you would like to exchange your coat, please submit your return request through the portal provided here.
When exchanging the item for another, the back and forth shipping is free. However, we retain the rights to require an additional payment if the return shipping costs are larger than usual due to using a different packaging than the original.
Please see the section “Return Shipping” for more information on how to return the item to us.
If you have selected the “send my exchange after I return” option, the exchange is processed after the returned item has been received and inspected. We cannot guarantee that the item will be available at that moment, and might reach out to you to agree on an alternative scenario (other product/size that is available, store credit or refund when eligible).
Please note, that this option is not available during the sales periods to ensure the best customer experience - as there are large volumes of orders and potential processing delays.
If you want to speed up the exchange process, and you would like to ensure the availability of your selected item, we suggest instant exchange option. Funds will be reserved on your card, and the exchanged item will be shipped right away. The reserved funds will be released from your card as soon as the return has been received and inspected.
If you are located outside the European Union, your exchange order will be marked as a warranty replacement. However, we do not have specific information about your country's customs policies in such cases. In some countries, customs regulations may still require import procedures and payments for each shipment, even if it is labeled as a warranty replacement. In these cases, we have been advised that customers can apply for a refund of the customs taxes and duties paid for the first shipment (most countries have a procedure for this). If your customs office requires an official statement confirming that the first coat was returned to us, please email support@rainsisters.com, and we will assist you with the process.

Do you offer returns?
Please submit your return request at our return portal here.
If you have received our coat, but it does not meet your expectations, you can return it. Our refund policy lasts for 21 days after you have received the parcel. In this time period, you have to let us know you are returning (by submitting a return request at our return portal) and ship out the parcel using our provided return label. We do not expect to receive the actual parcel in this time period. If 21 days have gone by, and you have not shipped out the parcel, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Should you encounter any challenges in returning the coat within the specified 21-day timeframe, please promptly notify us. We are committed to providing assistance and, upon request, will consider extending the return window to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
In the event of a coat return is shipped out beyond the initial 21-day period, only store credit will be issued, reflecting the original purchase amount.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, as well as provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

If you are located outside the European Union and have paid customs duties on your order – under current regulations, you can request a refund of import tax from your country's customs authority. If your customs office requires an official statement confirming that the first coat was returned to us, please email support@rainsisters.com, and we will assist you with the process.

Will the delivery costs and duties be refunded upon return?
The shipping costs you paid to receive the item are non-refundable. However, if you return the item, you can apply for a refund of the customs taxes and duties paid for the shipment. Since each country has its own procedure for this, we recommend checking with your local customs office.

How do I package my item for return or exchange?
When returning or exchanging an item, please ensure that it is packaged exactly as you received it. It must be in its original packaging and remain in its original condition, including the size tag.

How to use the DHL return label?
Please print out the label, affix it securely to the lid of the box, and deliver the package to DHL Express point, where a DHL employee will assist you with the return process.
You can find the nearest DHL Express service points here.
However, if you choose a DHL courier collection from your residence, the process can be initiated through here. You can select a suitable time for the DHL courier to retrieve the package from your home by referencing the WAYBILL number indicated on your return label.
The DHL return label is already prepaid.

When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are initiated within the next 5 business days after we have received and inspected the returned item. However, the timing of funds credited to the customer's account depends upon the processing timeline of their respective credit card provider.
Typically, it can take anywhere from 3 to 5 business days, though some banks may take longer.
If you selected the Instant Exchange option, the amount for the new coat was only reserved from your bank account, not fully deducted. Once we receive your returned item, we will release the reservation. However, please note that you will not receive a notification when the funds become available again in your account.

When will you ship my replacement coat?
The shipping time for your replacement coat depends on whether you chose an instant or regular exchange.
If you chose an instant exchange, we will ship your replacement coat within 1–5 business days, as per our Shipping Policy.
However, if you selected a regular exchange, the replacement coat will be shipped once we receive the returned item, and after it has been inspected, which may take up to 3 business days.

In which currency will I be charged for my RainSisters purchase?
Our RainSisters website is only in EUR currency. Depending on your location, our website may display your local currency, which will give you a comparison of how much the product will cost in your local currency. However, the final amount will always be displayed in EUR at the checkout and your card will also be charged in EUR, so a currency exchange rate may apply.
Please note that the currency exchange rate is set by your bank, and it is not something we can affect.

Do you offer gift cards?
Shopping for someone else but not sure what to give them? Give them the gift of choice with a RainSisters gift card.
Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.

My order is a gift. Will there be any price details on the packing slip?
No need to worry! We never include pricing information in any of the packages we send.
If it's a gift, just let us know — we’ll make sure to hide our logo as much as possible. To help keep the surprise, we’re happy to adjust the packaging when requested!

How to choose the correct size?
We have provided two detailed size charts on our website: one for recommended body measurements (in each product description) and another for actual coat dimensions.
To ensure the best fit, we recommend measuring your body circumferences with the clothes that you plan on wearing under the coat and comparing them to both charts before placing the order. This approach is more accurate than relying solely on the size you typically wear, as sizes can vary significantly between brands.

Which size should I choose if I'm between sizes?
When faced with uncertainty regarding the appropriate size or if your measurements fall between sizes, we advise selecting the larger size to accommodate the possibility of layering a thicket jumper underneath the coat. This ensures both comfort and versatility, especially during colder weather conditions.
Opting for a size up not only facilitates ease of movement, but also enhances insulation, ensuring optimal warmth and functionality throughout the varying climates.

How to take measurements?
Waist: The waistline should be measured about two finger-widths above the navel.
Bust: Measured around the fullest part of your chest.
Torso length: Measured at the back, from where the shoulder meets the neck to the waist.
Sleeve length: From where the sleeve attaches to the shoulder, down past the wrist (typically 3 cm past, but it depends on your preference).
Please ensure that you take these measurements while wearing the clothing you intend to wear under the coat. This will facilitate ease of movement, as well as enhance the insulation, ensuring optimal warmth and functionality throughout the varying climates.

What materials are used to create RainSisters products?
All RainSisters coats are made from membrane material, which is water-resistant (waterproof rating of 10,000 mm), breathable (5000 GSM) and windproof.
The fabric composition for each coat consists of 94% polyester and 6% polyamide.
The membrane fabric used for our products does not contain harmful PFAS chemicals.
All coats have a smooth and soft Italian satin lining inside that is 100% polyester. It agrees to OEKO-TEX standard 100.
Each piece is carefully sewn by local seamstresses, and we strive to be as environmentally conscious as possible in everything we do. Furthermore, RainSisters proudly upholds a fair wage policy within our company.

Are the coats waterproof?
All RainSisters coats are made from textile, not rubber, and have the same technical features – they are waterproof with the waterproofness rating of 10'000mm, which will keep you dry in light to moderate showers. They are also breathable, windproof, and perfect for daily use, not just rainy weather.

How do I clean my RainSisters coats?
Our coats do not require much care. We suggest washing them in the washing machine every 3 months at 30°C. Please avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, as they can damage the fabric.
After washing, do not use a tumble dryer. Instead, hang the coat on a “shoulder hanger” and let it air dry.

What temperatures are RainSisters coats suitable for?
This may be subjective, depending on how cold or hot you usually tend to be, as well as the area you are living in. Nonetheless, the coats made from soft shell material are suitable for temperatures ranging between -5°C/23°F and +20°C/68°F.
The coats made from light shell material will be more appropriate in temperatures ranging from +10°C/50°F up to +25°C/77°F.

Do you have physical RainSisters stores?
Our primary studio and office is located in Riga, Latvia. It serves as the central hub for our collection of coats. The studio also features a showroom, providing you with the opportunity to try on our coats and experience their quality and fit firsthand.
You can visit our primary studio at Mukusalas Street 25, Riga, Latvia, Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. However, we do kindly ask that you let us know beforehand if you plan on visiting our studio, so we can plan our work accordingly.

Are RainSisters products sustainable?
As a small, slow-fashion business, which doesn’t mass produce, we are committed to environmentally conscious and ethical practices in every product we create. We create and source materials locally, in Latvia, Europe, ensuring quality and sustainable approach. The designs for our coats are uniquely crafted by one of our Sisters, Zanda. Each piece is carefully sewn by our local seamstresses, and we strive to be as environmentally conscious as possible in everything we do.
Starting from 2025, we are aiming to introduce recycled or partially recycled fabrics into our production. Also to minimize the impact to the environment, we use our time and energy to come up with different ways on how to use the fabric leftovers.
Here, at RainSisters, we have invested in digital solutions to ensure that we only use what we need and minimise the amount of wastage that occurs. But as there still is a considerable amount of fabric leftovers, we use them to create makeup bags, belts and other stylish accessories.
We understand that our products are an investment, but we make sure that they will last for a long time and will not go out of style.
