Beautiful colour and print - but under the armpits the fabric is gathered
Beautiful coat and I love the sleeves. The colour and print are so so pretty.
The only thing that I don’t quite understand, is the gathering of fabric at the sides. At first I thought the coat was ‘faulty’ and thought I might exchange it, but I see now that it is also visible on the model and this a design choice. It makes it look more ‘lumpy’ under the armpits and as if the coat is too big. (I like the oversized look on the sleeves, but would have preferred a fitted bodice).
Since XS fits very easily I consider giving XXS as a try and hope the effects are less noticeable, but I can’t find the coat measurements on the site anymore. Only the body measurements, so I’ll get in touch through email.
