RainSisters Around The World: From Horse Riding to Theatre In Style

Continuing our journey in talking to RainSisters customers around the world, our next story takes us to Estonia, where we meet Natalia. An ecologist, animal lover, and devoted RainSisters customer, who loves embracing every kind of weather with style and confidence.

Natalia managed to capture our attention after posting a carousel of images on her Instagram account. There she was seen wearing the lovely ‘Raspberry Sorbet’ coat, while riding the horse, her sports partner, Chester. That’s when we knew – we just had to learn more about Natalia. 

Meet Natalia (And Her Adorable Pups) 

Based in Tallinn, Estonia, Natalia has a Master’s degree in ecology, so she tends to spend hours outdoors. Accompanying her on her explorations are her two loyal and playful corgis – Trüffel and Präänik. 

“These days I'm mainly focused on studying forests and wetlands, bog trails,” explains Natalia. “And my pups are always helping me to examine these areas.”

When it comes to Natalia and RainSisters, it turns out that she first learned about us from a friend. “My friend absolutely adores your coats and recommended them to me on so many occasions.” 

That friendly recommendation turned into a lasting love for the brand, as today Natalia owns two RainSisters coats: ‘Raspberry Sorbet’ and ‘Raven Red'.

“I spend a lot of time walking with my dogs, no matter the weather,” she explains. “Estonia has such a rainy climate, so I need plenty of coats. But I still want to look feminine and bright – not like just the average dog walker.” 

A Coat For Every Mood 

Natalia reveals, that since she has two RainSisters coats, she chooses which one to wear depending on where she’s going or simply how she feels that day. 

“When I'm in Tallinn’s Old Town, I prefer to look vivid and eye-catching, so then I usually wear my ‘Raspberry Sorbet’ coat,” she explains. “But when I go to the ballet or opera, which are my favourite places, I choose the ‘Raven Red’ coat. I think it’s more restrained, but that bright red accent makes it perfect for special evenings.”

Natalia remembers being drawn to the quality and feel of the coats from the very first moment. “I really wanted to look feminine and bright, and the description of the fabric on RainSisters website was very convincing. Once I saw and felt the material in person, I was sure – it’s beautifully made and truly comfortable.” 

Not Just Beautiful, But Practical 

“These coats are not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable,” Natalia shares. “I love the smooth lining – it keeps a warm sweater from bunching up in the sleeves.” 

“The coat is so practical that I didn’t feel any restriction even when galloping on a horse in it! You can lift your leg, climb over a fence, hop on a horse – and then, as if nothing happened, walk straight into the theatre looking like a true lady.”

Aside from keeping her dry, warm and allowing her to ride a horse, Natalia also is particularly happy with the sizes RainSisters offer. “I’d really like to compliment you on offering both petite and tall sizes,” she says. “I have friends with long legs and short torsos who always struggled to find coats that fit properly. The only place my friend found a style that suited her was RainSisters, and it made her so happy!”

Words of Advice From Natalia 

When asked if there’s a message she wants to share with other women, who might be questioning, if RainSisters coat is worth it, Natalia leaves us with a thought that perfectly captures her bright and confident spirit. 

“Don’t be afraid to stand out of the crowd while staying active and doing what you love! Try new things, learn, and discover your own style and activities that make you happy. Keep going, take care of yourself, and most importantly – stay in harmony with yourself, because you matter.”
