This is the very first Rain Sisters dress I have ever seen and tried, and it did not disappoint when it comes to quality and tailoring.
The material feels a bit shiny and silky, not elastic, but with this dress, you can adjust the waist at the sides, which can make it a really flattering fit.
First I thought it will be too small, really needed to loosen the waist before I could put it on. Still it felt slightly tight, but sizing up would probably ruin the fit. The elastic adapting part of the shoulders are a nice touch, really makes it sure that the boat neck stays on where it should.
I only find the back zipper a bit strange, as it is placed at the middle of the back, so it does not go all the way up, but I guess there is a good reason for that too, as all details are so thoughtful when it comes to this brand (and I am really one of those that pays attention to details).
All-in-all, I love so many things about it, the cut, the execution, however, the pattern, as beautiful as it is to look at, for me it is very hard to incorporate into my everyday life or even special occassions - I rather feel like it gives a bit nightgown-ish vibes, so I guess I would prefer a bit more subtle one, like Forget-me-Nots little flowers for example.
But if you are one of those whose style DNA matches with this piece, I can warmly recommend, it won't disappoint!
My go-to coat for travel! the multi colour flowers on the coat make it easy to match outfits and it is very versatile to wear for spring, autumn, winter. Bought it slightly looser so that I can wear layers underneath in colder weather.
Looks fantastic in photos (as you can see from my vacation pics) and I received many compliments from strangers. I was even asked where I bought the coat from.
If you are mulling over which coat to buy as your first piece, I strongly suggest this piece due to its wearability. It's dressy but effortless.

After trying on the green coat, I started to feel that the color just didn’t feel quite like me, even though I loved the design. This blue one, however, is absolutely stunning, and I’m genuinely so happy that I decided to go with this color.
The pleated skirt detail gives it such a unique and elegant look, exactly the kind of sophisticated style I love. I also adore the long hem and the feminine overall silhouette. I’ve received so many compliments, even in the most unexpected moments, which has honestly surprised me, although I know many others have mentioned the same thing here.
The M Tall is a perfect fit for me. I’m 177.5 cm tall, and I especially love that the waist seam sits at the right height rather than being too high. It makes such a difference for the overall fit and proportions.

It's such a luxe-feeling makeup bag - since the outer shell is made of the raincoat fabric (fabric remnants? I love a good way to use the waste from production!) it is easy to clean and water-repellant.
The inside sports that same sumptuous-feeling lining we have in our raincoats.
The zipper is strong, though occasionally gets a little sticky when zipped all the way shut.
My favorite is when the bag matches my raincoat, because I love to use it as a purse on occasion!
So my main hope for these is that RainSisters will allow us to request certain patterns in future! Perhaps a first choice pattern and a couple of backups?
