Material
This coat is made from membrane fabric that is water-resistant (10,000 mm), breathable (5,000 gsm), and windproof. The fabric composition is 94% polyester and 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS was used during the fabric production process.
Softshell fabric
This coat is made from softshell fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer, which makes this style more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).
Lining
As for the inner lining, a high-quality, extra soft, and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) is used. The lining agrees to the OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle, the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided.
You can also explore our RainSisters coats, made from light shell membrane fabric. This material is lighter and thinner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric does.

We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over €200. You can return and exchange your order within 21 days of receiving it.
We mainly ship with DHL or similar courier partners.

United States (US) – Due to recent changes in import taxes and duties, we want to make things easier for our customers. That’s why we cover half of the surcharge ourselves - only 10% is added to your order, while we take care of the rest (Please note that this charge is non-refundable in case of returns).

Is the girls’ softshell coat waterproof, windproof, and breathable?
Yes. RainSisters girls’ softshell coats are made from waterproof membrane fabric (waterproof rating of up to 10,000 mm) that is also windproof and breathable (5000 GSM). They protect well in light rain and everyday wet weather. However, they are not designed for heavy downpours, as the fabric is textile rather than rubber.
Is the coat warm and what temperatures is it suitable for?
Yes. The softshell fabric has an inner fleece layer that provides warmth while remaining breathable. We recommend wearing the coat in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C (68°F), depending on layering and your child’s comfort.
