I have the new version which has belt loops. I was not sure about them at first as they stick out a lot and look silly if you wear without the belt. However, I have only worn it with the belt so far. I may tack them in a bit. Otherwise the coat is fabulous and I have had lots of compliments on it. Has great, large pockets. The hood is a little big and can blow down in the rain but pulled in as tight as will go if either a hat under it is better. I initially got the small on measurements but it was a little tight so now have the medium, which is snug but can fit a thin jacket or jumper under. I am UK size 10-12.

Incroyable ! Il est parfait !
Je savais que je ne serais pas déçue mais je ne m'attendais pas à aussi bien ! Le tissu est d'excellente qualité, les poches sont profondes, le manteau est suffisamment chaud avec cette doublure incroyablement douce, il est souple et élégant. Bref une pépite ! J'émettais des doutes concernant la longueur de la capuche qui avait l'air trop courte selon certain commentaires, ce qui a retardé mon achat... mais il s'avère que la capuche est parfaite pour moi ! Les liens pour la resserrer sont d'ailleurs fonctionnels et nous couvre entièrement la tête en cas de vent. En témoignent les photos ;)
