A true showstopper, impeccably crafted, with a subtle hint of raspberry in its tone.
I'm absolutely delighted with my choice! This coat cheers me up every time I see it, let alone wear it. And it's almost impossible to go unnoticed, thanks to both its striking colour and its unusual design.
As a non-native English speaker and certainly no expert in Pantone colour codes :), I had imagined scarlet to be a vivid, classic red. However, this coat has a subtle raspberry undertone, which makes it all the more exciting and surprisingly easy to pair with accessories.
I'm 168 cm tall, and size M fits me perfectly, even with two layers underneath (although the size chart suggested an L to be on the safe side). The length is just right, too, even without heels. I suppose the ideal size really depends on how you like to dress and how much you tend to layer up for the season and weather.

Second year - looks like new!
A year ago, in the autumn, I reluctantly ordered this coat. It looked absolutely beautiful online, but it was very expensive for my budget. It was going to be the most expensive item of clothing I had ever bought. But wow, has it ever been worth the money!
I have never received as many compliments on any item of clothing I have ever owned as I have on this coat! Complete strangers have stopped me in the street to ask about it. A bus driver even called out to me through the window during her break to ask where I got it. My female colleagues actually clapped when I wore it for the first time. Children told me how pretty I looked. Wherever I went, I got compliments.
But that's not all this coat has going for it. It's comfortable, completely waterproof, and thanks to its large hood, I no longer end up with frizzy, curly hair, even in drizzle and fog. It also keeps me warm well into winter, and I wear it down to around 0°C (32°F).
My biggest problem with clothes has always been that they have to be practical and able to withstand everyday wear and tear. I don't baby my clothes. This coat has been no exception. I'm now wearing it for my third season (autumn – spring – autumn), and it has to put up with daily car-seat use and a heavy shoulder bag. And guys, it still looks brand new!
So, is it expensive? Yes! Is it worth it? Yes, yes, YES!

Utterly fabulous
Incredible quality. Was skeptical at first but did SO MUCH research before buying but when I tell you this coat is worth EVERY PENNY. I was replacing another coat of a similar value which no longer fit me and wanted something to live up to the expectations and it exceeds them. Would buy again without any hesitation
