Wrap yourself in this classic coat, a warm and stylish choice in soft caramel brown. The fancy double-breasted design keeps you cozy on chilly days, and the delicate light beige satin lining with black flower print adds a romantic touch. The model is 1.77m (5'10”) tall and wears size XS.

Coat details:

  • double-breasted design,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • adjustable hood,
  • comes with an additional belt featuring silver-tone hardware,
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 110cm (43.3in) for size XXS up to 113cm (44.5in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in light color with a black floral print,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

*The coat does not have belt loops, allowing you to position the belt exactly where it flatters you the most.

Material

Double Breasted Trench Coat in Caramel Brown

All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.

Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell. 

Light shell fabric

Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer four styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black' and 'Powder Dream'.  

Soft shell fabric

Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided. 

 

Care

  • Professional dry clean

          OR

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      Love this coat

      It fits beautifully and Is warm enough to wear in Canadian autumn. I bought the black with red lining coat first and have worn it numerous times - kept me dry and I felt stylish in it. I have styled the trench coat with my orange hat and scarf and it looks amazing . So yes happy owner of two rain sisters coats. They keep me warm and dry without the bulk. ❤️❤️

      I had to wait until the sale before I could afford this, but it is totally worth its regular price. The coat is of a stunning fabric, beautifully made with much attention to detail, and the fit is just incredible. LOVE my new Rainsisters coat - I fear I will need it in more colours.

      Beautiful but true to size

      Coat arrived and I'm delighted with the beautiful cut and material! I'm 5.3 in height and a UK10 so I ordered the S Petite and it fits like a glove which is what I wanted so to wear light layers underneath. Will definitely order again but will size up to a M Petite so that I can wear jumpers underneath in the winter time. Arrived within 7 days of order so would recommend very good service.

      I once had a structured coat with princess seams and a demure bustle. It was the most fabulous coat I had bought in my 20s. In my 30s, I idiotically donated it. I’ve been in a mission over the last 6 years to find a replacement. I was soooo excited to find RainSisters, I sent it to all my girlfriends, but these coats looked fabulous. I received my coat today and it is everything I expected. I was worried about sizing and I emailed them. They promptly replied and I was able to find the right petite size. It fits great. It’s warmer than my other raincoat, which is perfect for fall in NYC.

      cute but not sized to layer underneath

      I'm 5' 2" and a 103 lbs -105 lbs. I got an XS regular because the chat box told me that the jackets are sized bigger to be able to wear layers beneath but this just fits me. I would recommend sizing up if you want to wear thicker sweaters or hoodies with the jacket. It's super cute but the belt flops at the end. It would be nice if it came with another loop to slide the belt end through to keep it in place. Also, the shoulders are a little squared looking on me because I have narrow shoulders. If I purchase another jacket, I would get it in small and short. This jacket is pretty warm so it's more suited to fall and winter weather.

      Sizing is less than perfect

      I have a gorgeous M blue breeze coat which was just a bit too snug, with the bottom button popping open if not securely fasted all of the buttons.

      I ordered this in a large in the sale, hoping for a better fit. I'm however drowning in it around my chest area, it's very unflattering.

      70kgs, 1.72cms. I'm really in between sizes, M is a little too tight. L isn't an option.

      Fabric however, is as gorgeous as the previous one. I can say that I found the color I got at home a little darker than expected compared to the pictures.

      Great quality though, if they made a slightly larger M/L in between size I'd have definately bought a different one.
