This double-breasted trench coat has an eye-catching bright red color that commands attention and exudes confidence. The light satin lining with graphic black leaves and berry print adds a beautiful contrast. This midi-length bright red color coat is perfect for womens who refuse to let gloomy weather dampen their spirits.

The model is 1.77m (5'10”) tall and wears size XS.

Coat details:

  • double-breasted silhouette,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • adjustable hood,
  • comes with an additional belt featuring silver-tone hardware,
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 110 cm (43.3 in) for size XXS up to 113 cm (44.5 in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in light color with graphic black leaves and berry print,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

Material

Double Breasted Trench Coat in Bright Red

All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.

Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell. 

Light shell fabric

Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer four styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black' and 'Powder Dream'.  

Soft shell fabric

Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided. 

 

Care

  • Professional dry clean

          OR

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      Wonderful coat

      This is my second coat from Rain Sisters, so I knew I would be delighted again. Even though I ordered the same size as before (XS), it is definitely smaller than the other one. But that's a good thing, because it fits better when worn over a thin dress. The coat is warm and perfectly protects against wind and rain. And it's beautiful. The last time I wore it, a man said I had a nice dress...

      Love this coat

      I treated myself to this lovely red coat and I love it. Being just over 6” tall I often find it difficult to find lovely items with sleeves that are long enough, waists that are in the right place and not too big because I’ve had to size up to get the length. RainSisters offer so many size options that I managed to get the perfect fit and it’s flattering, fun and comfortable. I love it and am thinking about getting it in black too even though I don’t need another coat!

      Beautiful coat

      I absolutely love this coat, and have received so many compliments on it. The material and construction are high quality, and the fit is stunning. I agree with the other reviewers that the sizing runs a little small - I am between UK 10-12 and bought the medium, which is a perfect size but you couldn't wear a really bulky sweater underneath. The hood sits really nicely and doesn't fall forward like other similar styled coats I've bought from other companies. I think the pockets are a good size; I've squeezed two phones and a set of keys into one pocket and because the material is quite thick, it barely makes a bulge in the outline of the coat. This coat was well-worth the investment, it's a timeless piece.

      I have worn my beautiful red coat all winter, every time I put it on it makes me smile. The movement of the coat is amazing and it is so unique to have such style with the waterproofing - functional and classy. I also asked for a little bit of material to make my own belt loops.       Mittlerweile besitze ich 3 dieser Mäntel und möchte sie nicht mehr missen. Sie sind exzellent verarbeitet und perfekt, um auch bei Mistwetter gut auszusehen.       I love my new rain coat, the quality is amazing. The size is a bit small, so if you are between two sizes you should pick the larger one.
