The first model is 1.65m (5'5") tall and wearing size XS. The second model is 1.80m (5'11”) tall and wears size XS. In the photos, models are wearing the coat with an accessory - a tie belt you can order separately. 

Coat details:

  • fitted bodice and a flared a-line skirt,
  • detachable and adjustable hood,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 110 cm (43.3 in) for size XXS up to 113 cm (44.5 in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in a light pink color,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm),
  • this membrane fabric with an inner fleece layer is more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing this coat in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C (68°F).

*The coat does not have belt loops, allowing you to position the belt exactly where it flatters you most.

**Please note that the tie belt is not included and can be purchased separately.

Material

This coat is made from membrane fabric that is water-resistant (10,000 mm), breathable (5,000 gsm), and windproof. The fabric composition is 94% polyester and 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS was used during the fabric production process.

Please note: The water resistance rating of 10,000 mm means the coat can withstand light rain or snow for 1-2 hours or a moderate shower for about 30 minutes. This coat is not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Softshell fabric

This coat is made from softshell fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer, which makes this style more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining, a high-quality, extra soft, and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) is used. The lining agrees to the OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle, the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided.

Care

  • Professional dry clean

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      This coat is absolutely beautiful! I sized up to a Medium as the small didn’t leave much room for anything underneath. The skirt part is flared so I can wear it over a vintage style dress and petticoat. The coat is well made and the fabric is gorgeous. Packed nicely in a box. Thank you RainSisters! 💖

      I just love it. Everybody compliments me on looking like a Princess and honestly I absolutely feel like one twirling and wearing this coat. Plus the quality is just chef kiss.       The cutest coat I ever have

      I saw lot's of videos on TikTok before I ordered this coat. Most of videos said, that if you wear a Rainsisters coat, pepople on the street stops you to tell how wonderful is your coat. I thought this is a marketing strategy. No It's NOT!!! It's really true! I have experienced it when I wore my coat first time! Only one thing: I really don't understand why there is nothing on the coat what fixes the belt on it. I have to be very careful to don't lose the belt.

      Very beautiful, but hard to style

      So I ordered 3 RainSister's coats: blue breeze, desirable bow and this one. Out of the three subjectively this was my favourite. It has the most universally flattering cut, the best engineered lines, the colour and details are beautiful. I felt like a pincess in this! But although this was my favourite I returned it, because it is pretty much a statement piece, not a classic piece. 1. You look a little silly when you wear jeans, sneakers or a thicker sweater underneath. 2. Because of the colour and flower details, you look a little out of place, when you wear it in autumn and winter, it's too warm for summer, so you can only really wear it in spring. When you want to wear it with a dress to a special occasion you have to make sure the colours don't clash. So basically, it's best to wear black, pink, red or neutral colours with it. So basically, to really pull this coat off, to let you shine in it, it only really works in spring, while wearing nice black heels/shoes and wearing tights. For me personally I had to conclude that it is too expensive for how little versatile this piece is, although I'm still sad that I had to make this decision. If you don't mind these difficulties and have more money at hand, then go for it.
