Description

This coat is a beautiful beige coat with colorful flowers in ruby red, indigo, sky blue, and golden yellow colors. It looks fancy with its double-breasted style, making you feel like you're stepping into a lively spring garden. The first model is 1,68m (5'6”) tall and wearing size XS.

The second model is 1,78m (5'10” ft) tall and wearing size XS.

Coat details:

  • double-breasted style,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • comes with an additional belt featuring silver-tone hardware,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in soft pink, 
  • the length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring the back of the coat) is 110cm (43.3in) for size XXS up to 115cm (45in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

Material

Double Breasted Trench Coat in Beige with Flower Print

All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.

Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell. 

Light shell fabric

Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer four styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black' and 'Powder Dream'.  

Soft shell fabric

Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided. 

 

Care

  • Professional dry clean

          OR

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      Flower power dream coat

      I got my coat in one of the petite sizes and it's honestly an absolutely perfect fit! this must be the first coat that has a waist seam that sits at my actual waist in... I don't even remember the last time that happened! very accurate size chart and I've been given compliments by total strangers every time I wore it so far! It's also nice and warm for autumn weather, keeps the scottish rain off me and dries super fast afterwards again. I'm seriously in love! thank you RainSisters.
      future improvement suggestion: my only note is that either a buckle and strap or popper at the wrists would be nice to tighten the sleeves when its pouring outside but that's honestly just picking at it on a high level now since I you'd usually just burry your hands in the coat pockets anyways.

      Like a queen. I got in size S. Was a little too loose in waist. ( my measurement is 70cm and breast 90cm) I kept it because with belt it sits well. I would love to download more photos and even video and demonstrate all the beauty of this coat but files are too big unfortunately. The colour is gentle and unique. People commenting all the time how the love my coat. Please order!

      A really gorgeous coat, so different but beautiful. Impressive material thicker than expected. Generous hood and pockets. I ordered the tall but could have managed with the other,the sizing is generous, measure carefully and check the chart when ordering. I was so impressed by the sizes available and probably over compensated.wish there were belt loops,I ve sewn my own on .

      The nicest coat!

      I've never received so many compliments on an item of clothing before, I get stopped so frequently when I'm wearing it by people admiring it! It is properly water proof, and has withstood heavy Irish rain with no seeping through! Really impressed with this, definitely worth the price! Pockets are very roomy which I also love. The only criticism is that there are no loops for the belt which can make it awkward when you take the coat off, but that's really minor. Overall I love it!
