- hidden pockets in the side seams,

- full body lining from Italian satin in light color,
- length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 100cm (39.4in) for size XXS up to 103cm (40.5in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
- waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

Material
Material
All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.
Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!
Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell.
Light shell fabric
Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer four styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black' and 'Powder Dream'.
Soft shell fabric
Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).
Lining
As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided.

- Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
- Do not use any type of softening liquids;
- Do not tumble dry;
- Do not bleach;

I found this raincoat’s heft perfect for Stockholm autumn. It’s rainy here and hovers between 0-10 degrees. The coat is very well made and the lining is really silky and luxurious. It isn’t pilling with friction as many thicker linings do. The flare of the skirt really keeps my pants and shoes dry from the rain even when there is wind. Although it is on the pricier side of what I pay for coats, I think this will be a timeless piece that will be sturdy enough to wear for years. I also waited a couple of years to invest - and felt a bit apprehensive that the line of the coat is out of style right now. But, once I got it my doubts went away. Although it isn’t trendy, the fit of the coat looks great on my figure and it’s classic - like ballet flats. And - the best part is I get so many compliments on this coat - from friends but also just walking down the street. If you have met Swedes you will know that is really saying something!
This is a beautiful investment piece
This was my first RainSisters coat. First I ordered an XS and then I exchanged it for an S. The return system was really fast and smooth, the delivery also. The coat is so beautifully made, I got a lot of compliments. It's perfect for cols weather and wind, and it keeps me warm.🍃 It's perfect for light rain, which keeps me dry. I also ordered a belt and it's just the perfect cherry on top.
This coat keeps me dry for hours in the rain, even on the bicycle! The quality is really superior and every seam is perfect. I feel really empowered wearing it!
Living in the UK, a waterproof coat is pretty much a year-round essential. However, the options (especially those with a hood) always put practicality over style. This is by far the most beautiful rain jacket I’ve ever owned. I received it as a birthday gift and was thrilled! It fits nicely down the bodice and flares out gracefully, swinging when you walk or twirl :) I have received compliments on it every time I’ve worn it. Now I’m actually happy when it rains because I get to wear my fabulous raincoat!
