This gorgeous black women's fitted coat with pleated skirt is a perfect blend of timeless style and playful charm. The coat has a classy fit on top and a twirly skirt at the bottom, giving you a graceful and fun look. The model is 1,68m (5'6”) tall and wearing size XS.

Coat details:

  • form-fitted upper body and flared skirt with two large pleats on the front and back,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in velvety-smooth red, 
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 100cm (39.4in) for size XS up to 103cm (40.5in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

Material

Black Fitted Coat with Pleated Skirt and Strawberry Print

All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.

Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell. 

Light shell fabric

Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer four styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black' and 'Powder Dream'.  

Soft shell fabric

Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided. 

 

Care

  • Professional dry clean

          OR

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      Ļoti skaists mētelis. Nenožēloju ne centa no iztērētas naudas. Vienīgais ko ieteiktu ir piedāvāt papildus pakalpojumu, ka var pa papildus samaksu piešūt jostas cilpiņas. Saprotu ka viņas var piešūt paši, bet foršāk būtu ja tā būtu kā opcija. Iesaku ņemt izmēru lielāku kā jau daudzi iesaka. Pašai ir S izmērs un paņemu M. Ideāli vēl vietas der džemperim.       Very satisfied

      I am 1.75 cm tall and have a small waist so I wasn't sure which size to choose as I was close to the S measurement but I was worried about sleeve length. I decided to purchase a Medium (tall) and a belt so I could tighten it around the waist. These are the results! There's enough space to fit a warm jumper underneath and I can regulate the waist size according to how many layers I'm wearing. The material is high quality and I love the red silk inside. I would definitely recommend the investment!

      Beautiful raincoat

      I tested out the coat on a very windy, rainy day and it kept me warm and dry. Beautifully constructed with high quality materials. The only suggestion I’d have would be to have zippers on the pockets. I’m usually an XS, but ordered the S and it is comfortable but snug with a lightweight shirt.

      I love my coat. The fabric and lining feel luxurious. I love how it is tailored in the middle and the fairytale-like fit of the hood! I also ordered the belt, but I do not wear it often since I like the coat more without the belt

      Oh this red lining…
      Deliberately ordered size down for tighter fit. Still can put on a dress under. Just love all my four coats. This one is my husbands fav of all. Very recommend. It is not overpriced for the quality and unique style. Love it.

      Gorgeous, quality, coat

      As beautiful IRL as in the photos - and the QUALITY! It was quite a bit heavier than I expected - proof of how gorgeous the material is. The only caveat is I wish I’d gotten one size larger. Even though I’m a small I have a large bust, which the cost is a little tight across, though it still fits. Love it!

      Simply amazing

      I was never satisfied with all my coats that I had. Too short, too tight, too loose on my waist. I ordered two different colours and the decision was really hard. I love to wear my coat now. The quality ist outstanding.
