This gorgeous black women's fitted coat with pleated skirt is a perfect blend of timeless style and playful charm. The coat has a classy fit on top and a twirly skirt at the bottom, giving you a graceful and fun look. With its delightful print of red strawberries, it's not just a coat; it's a beautiful piece of fashion that combines tradition with a touch of whimsy for a stylish and charming vibe.

The model is 1,68m (5'6”) tall and wearing size XS.

Coat details:

  • form-fitted upper body and flared skirt with two large pleats on the front and back,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in velvety-smooth red, 
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 100cm (39.4in) for size XS up to 103cm (40.5in) for size 3XL,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

Material

Black Fitted Coat with Pleated Skirt and Strawberry Print

All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.

Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell. 

Light shell fabric

Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer four styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black' and 'Powder Dream'.  

Soft shell fabric

Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided. 

 

Care

  • Professional dry clean

          OR

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      I love my rainsisters coat so much! Perfect for spring and really all year round when living at the Baltic Sea. It's perfectly windproof and great with a little rain (haven't run into a massive downpour with it yet). You will get lots of compliments and questions when wearing!

      So beautiful

      I just bought this coat and this is the most beautiful thing that I own without a doubt. I was a bit stressed with the sizing, since my bust was M according to measurements and waist was s but I decided to get size M with a belt. The size is amazing, I do have a little truoble with tying the belt since it is little thick and normal bow or knot just doesn't work but I'm going to keep practicing with that. I'm so excited to use this and will definitely buy another one later.

      Beautiful Coat

      Lovely, lovely raincoat! As a size 14 I originally ordered the large, but found it too tight across the bust for me, so returned for the next size up. It's perfect and gives room for layers when it's colder. Not surprisingly I've been able to wear it in the rain already and stayed nice and dry. The returns process was easy and delivery pretty quick.
