The "Forest Flower" women's coat is in a deep dark green color with a striking graphic floral print in black. This coat boasts a stylish fusion of a fitted top and a flared silhouette, creating a chic look. The model is 1,73m (5'8”) tall and wearing size XS.

Coat details:

  • fitted top and flared skirt with two pleats on the front and back,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • adjustable hood,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in soft pink,
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 100cm (39.4in) for size XXS up to 103cm (40.5in) for size 3XL,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

Material

Fitted Coat with Pleated Flared Skirt in Green and Black

All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.

Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell. 

Light shell fabric

Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer four styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black' and 'Powder Dream'.  

Soft shell fabric

Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided. 

 

Care

  • Professional dry clean

          OR

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      Gorgeous Forest Flower

      This is my second purchase. My first was during Covid, when shopping was limited, so I decided to treat myself to a colourful raincoat, which looked like nothing I had seen in shops. Two years later, I decided to add another. The first is still going strong, but I was tempted by this gorgeous green (which was the first one I saw advertised, however got distracted by the pinks and purples which I bought then instead). This has a lovely coloured lining as well. Love the fit with a full skirt. This is perfect for the grey damp weather we have had this winter - throw it on and feel more cheerful, as well as staying dry. With both coats, I have been approached by complete strangers in the street to compliment it. So many people have asked where it is from, some friends claim they might have to take it from me by force! I feel well dressed for the weather, and confident I will now have a choice of two different colours for years to come. Great service as well, very fast shipping to New Zealand, and carefully wrapped. Thank you RainSisters, this is perfect!

      The coat is as promised, very pretty and efficient with the rain, I live in Scotland and I walk my dog a lot, so it's very handy. Super comfortable to wear, the adjustable hood is perfect for high winds. You can tell it's made of very good quality fabric. I just bought a second one during the June sale and it arrived earlier than expecting the 2 times.
      I also went to a gig in June and I spotted someone else in the crowd with the same coat, we had to take a picture!

      You will be looked at!!

      When you consider what has gone into this coat to make it perfect then the price is something you put aside. This coat is to be owned for a long time it carries quality as well as stylish sophistication. I purchased a tall size after following the video of how to measure yourself for the coat . The sleeves as well as the torso and skirt are longer and are perfect. The skirt length comes over the knee for me which I find quite nice. I love the hood size and how it stays on my head. The lining of the coat is quite beautiful with a soft feeling against the skin. I've never seen another raincoat like it. I have received many looks and compliments form people already. I can't wait to purchase my next one I am in love. Why have any other coat when you can have a Rain Sisters coat?

      Love this raincoat! It fits perfectly, and I get compliments everytime I do wear it.

      I've not yet tested it in a proper downpour, but in a medium one it held up well!

      Best purchase i made so far!

      The quality of this coat is beyond anything i ever imagined and most people dont want to believe me thats its actually a coat and a RAIN coat at because it looks so much like a dress, the patter is just fantastic and its also a lot warmer and sturdier than it looks but still has a great level of comfort to it, the inner lining is also amazing. Will say that if you are as heavy chested as i am definitely size up a bit, i am more than ok with compromising a couple of buttons on my chest area for the overall fit of the coat, i ordered a medium and it fits my waist, shoulders, back and arms like it was tailored. Highly recommend this!
