The 'Forest Flower' women's coat comes in a deep dark green color with a striking graphic floral print in black. This coat boasts a stylish feeling with its fitted top and flared silhouette, creating a chic look. The model is 1,73m (5'8”) tall and wearing size XS.

Coat details:

  • fitted top and flared skirt with two pleats on the front and back,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • adjustable hood,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in soft pink,
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 100cm (39.4in) for size XXS up to 103cm (40.5in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).

Material

Fitted Coat with Pleated Flared Skirt in Green and Black

All RainSisters' coats are made from membrane fabric - water resistant (10 000mm), breathable (5 000 gsm) and windproof material. Fabric composition: 94% polyester, 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS used during the fabric production process.

Please note that the water resistance level of 10 000mm means that our coats can withstand 1-2 hours in a light rain/snow, or approximately 30 minutes in a moderate shower, without letting water come through. Our coats are not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Currently the available coats are made from two types of membrane fabric - light shell and soft shell. 

Light shell fabric

Since the collection of Spring | Summer 2024 we introduce the light shell membrane fabric. It is more lighter and thiner, it does not have the warmer fleece inner layer as soft shell fabric do. Coats made from light shell material is more appropriate for warmer weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from +10°C (50°F) up to +25°C(77°F). Currently we offer six styles made out of light shell - 'Minty Meadow', 'Graceful Grey', 'Timeless Black', 'Heavenly White', 'Violet Bloom' and 'Powder Dream'.  

Soft shell fabric

Since the very beginning of RainSisters brand the main fabric we use to create most of the coats are the soft shell membrane fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer. The warm fleece inner layer makes these styles more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining a high-quality, extra soft and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) are used. The lining agrees to OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided. 

 

Care

  • Professional dry clean

          OR

  • Wash on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F);
  • Use hand wash if necessary for stains;
  • Do not use any type of softening liquids;
  • Do not tumble dry;
  • Do not bleach;
  • Do not iron.

      STUNNING!

      Treated myself to this coat last month and have wore it a few times now. I can’t go anywhere without someone complimenting it, it’s absolutely stunning. So flattering and feminine. Yes it’s a little pricey, but this is definitely reflected in the quality.

      I was in between two sizes when I read the measurements, so went for the larger of the two which was the correct decision as it can be going over layers. I also purchased the matching belt, it looks great with or without.

      99% amazing

      I got this coat two weeks ago and I LOVE it! Fits perfectly and I never find coats to fit perfectly! Every single time I have worn it, I at minimum, receive 5 compliments from strangers, friends, family etc! My ONLY complaint... and it's not big enough to not buy another coat, is the pockets are at the side seams. It looks more seamless, but they are far back and I find they aren't easily accessible so I don't really use them. I get why they are where they are, but I would have liked them more at a front hip placement. Doesn't take away any stars for me and will buy more, but it's worth mentioning if it matters to you.

      This lovely coat unfortunately didn’t work out for me due to my short frame. However, I must mention that the coat was very well crafted and the customer service was top notch.

      Great coat for autumn and early winter

      I was hesitating to order my coat for a long time. It was really hard to decide which style as well.
      The coat is indeed very warm as it's wind-proof and water-resistant. Perfect for german autumn and winter time (if paired with warm sweater and thermo undergarments).
      My coat is xxs petite. My parameters are 77/58/80
      height 155 cm - and the coat sits pretty tight. If you are wearing baggy/voluminous clothes - it's wise to size up a little.

      I love the coat I received. The first one I ordered was too tight around my shoulders and chest, so I had to order 1 size larger than I usually wear. Customers service was amazing, the helped me out immediately with every question I had, exchanging for a bigger size was easy and fast.
      I got a lot of compliments from people around me, telling me how beautiful this coat is. I wore it also while raining and it held up perfectly. I was riding my bike for 30 minutes and the insides of the coat were still dry.
      I recommend this coat wholeheartedly.

      'Forest Flower' FEEDBACK

      I think this has been the best purchase in years. The material is really good quality, as are seams, and i was left completely dry in the last shower. It really is an investment into the future. So far i have worn it every day for month and a half and there are no signs of wear.
      Moreover, i regularly get compliments on the coat and people inquire where to get it too. I am more than happy to refer them to Rain Sisters!
