This black women's trench coat has a classic double-breasted silhouette. It gives a charming and classic look, and the solid black color goes with everything. Inside, it's extra special with a satin lining that has a pretty black leaf and berry pattern on a light background. Step into elegance with the 'Queen of Spades' coat, making you feel fabulous in easy-to-match black.

The model is 1.77m (5'10”) tall and wears size XS.

Coat details:

  • double-breasted silhouette,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • adjustable hood,
  • comes with an additional belt featuring silver-tone hardware,
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 110cm (43.3in) for size XXS up to 113cm (44.5in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in light color with black leaf and berry print,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm),
  • this membrane fabric with an inner fleece layer is more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing this coat in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C (68°F).

*The coat does not have belt loops, allowing you to position the belt exactly where it flatters you most.

Material

Double Breasted Trench Coat in Solid Black

This coat is made from membrane fabric that is water-resistant (10,000 mm), breathable (5,000 gsm), and windproof. The fabric composition is 94% polyester and 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS was used during the fabric production process.

Please note: The water resistance rating of 10,000 mm means the coat can withstand light rain or snow for 1-2 hours or a moderate shower for about 30 minutes. This coat is not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Softshell fabric

This coat is made from softshell fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer, which makes this style more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining, a high-quality, extra soft, and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) is used. The lining agrees to the OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle, the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided.

      I really love my coat. Had to change size, but it was easy and comunication was good!

      It’s the Perfect lenght for me and makes a pretty outfit.
      The pockets are a bit too small for me and they could be a placed a bit more towards the front. But it doesn’t bother me that much.
      I don’t like the cut from the sleeves to the bust, for me it’s too long (the space between the armpits) so the whole coat moves by raising my arms. Overall I love this coat either way <3 just sooo pretty!!!

      Unexpectadly warm and comfy coat

      I have used my RainSisters coat more or less every day since I bought it. I find it to be unexpectedly warm and cozy, keeping me warm down to around 0 degrees celcius. I have had two medium showers of rain, lasting for about 20 min each and the coat kept me completly dry in both of them, which is more than promissed so I am super happy about that too. The hood has a great fit without compromissing the aestethic, and most inportantly - it stays on!
      I would love if RainSisters included the option for the short but more busty woman. Mine is a bit tight around the bust but the M size would be too big for me in other regards. I fear that with time the coat will wear around the buttons due to the strain in the fabric there.
      If I could wish for one more improvement it would be a hidden button on the inside of the coat to use when it is very windy. Right now the skirt of the coat just swoooosch right open in a gust of wind.
      That said I love the coat and have received a heap of complimants on it!

      I absolutely love my coat! I have received so many compliments. It fits perfectly and is more flattering than most long, hooded raincoats. It keeps me dry in heavy rain, and keeps me warm in the winter. I am so pleased I ordered it.

      Beautiful jacket! Fabric is soft both outside and inside. I live in Scotland and had it for 1year now and never got soaked through in a storm yet. I bought a S. I just wish there is more info available online about the length of the skirt. I have a long body/shorter legs so the regular length is good for torso/sleeves dimensions, but this jacket falls way below the knees unlike the model. I still love it because it keeps my legs warm when windy.

      Love love love the design! Love the 1950’s style waterproof with hood coat which is impossible to find online. Been getting so many attention and compliments from people in the streets. Keep up with the amazing design especially for winter ones as well which I hope you will bring in the future. FYI I’m 160cm tall and chose petite XS as prefer shorter skirt than the regular sizes which is a bit too long for my liking.

      It’s perfect for Irish weather

      I love my coat!! I live in Ireland for almost 5 years and I never hopped for rain as much as I do now. It makes me feel like a witch flying on my broom when I ride my bike.
