This gorgeous black women's fitted coat with a pleated skirt has a timeless style and gives a playful charm. The coat has a classy fit on top and a twirly skirt at the bottom, giving you a graceful look. The delightful print of red strawberries gives this coat a playful and charming vibe.

The model is 1,68m (5'6”) tall and wearing size XS.

Coat details:

  • form-fitted upper body and flared skirt with two large pleats on the front and back,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in velvety-smooth red, 
  • length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring at the back of the coat) is 100cm (39.4in) for size XS up to 103cm (40.5in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm).
  • this membrane fabric with an inner fleece layer is more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing this coat in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C (68°F).

Black Fitted Coat with Pleated Skirt and Strawberry Print

This coat is made from membrane fabric that is water-resistant (10,000 mm), breathable (5,000 gsm), and windproof. The fabric composition is 94% polyester and 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS was used during the fabric production process.

Please note: The water resistance rating of 10,000 mm means the coat can withstand light rain or snow for 1-2 hours or a moderate shower for about 30 minutes. This coat is not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Softshell fabric

This coat is made from softshell fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer, which makes this style more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining, a high-quality, extra soft, and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) is used. The lining agrees to the OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle, the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided.

    I sincerely recommend

    The coat looks amazing and is comfy to wear. You can see great attention to detail, all seams are clean and even, good quality material both for outer shell and for the lining, and the print is so vivid that onlookers think it's embroidery. I attach the photo taken during light rain - the coat is waterproof. Note that this cut is indeed fitted - I ordered S based on the size chart on the webpage and then it was fitting on me like a dress. There was no problem to make the exchange, and I'm happy with M, it fits me together with a big sweater :) I ordered regular size, I'm 167 cm tall, and the coat goes slightly below my knees, which is great for the rain, as it covers most of the trousers as well. All in all, it's my best coat in years, and I only wish they had a winter series as well.

    My favourite coat

    I absolutely love this coat and get lots of compliments when wearing it. I did originally order the wrong size but they made it very easy to sort out. The size chart is accurate so make sure to measure before buying, I was on the line for the medium which gives a slightly tighter fit if you like that. The petite sizes are also perfect if you’re short like me (5 foot 2)

    Transform your wardrobe

    I discovered Rainsisters coarts about 14 months ago and own 5. Nothing has transformed my wardrobe as much as these coats. Put one on and you feel instantly dressed. They are so well.made and well cut and beautifully designed and enduring. My first coat has been worn countless times and is still as new. The luxurious satin lining contributes a lot to the comfort and impact and makes me feel like a princess. I have to say that the endless compliments I receive has brughtened many a day. They repay the price in so many ways. You feel instanty well dressed no matterc what yiu wear underneath and I am reluctant to wear any of my other coats. I am a size S and thi Wild Strawberry coat is my only S petite. It is a trifle tighter and I cannot wear very thick clothes underneath, but it is still comfortable to wear I would not select petite again because I prefer a longer length which looks better on me with the full skirt. These coats stand up to a lot of wear with the poppers remaining secure and not a stitch undone. Buy one- any one. You will not regret it. I should add that buying, and exchanging has not been an issue given that I live in the UK abd the Customer Service and communication is excellent , reliable and friendly.

    Love it, but some helpful remarks

    It's a tight fit if you have a very large bust compared to waist (I suspect a double breasted model would have been better for me), but I fell in love with the strawberries so much. It fits - but only with regular shirts, can't fit a wintery fleece pullover or something, so sadly it will be a spring and autumn coat - it's definitely way too cold in 0°C weather. I found it on the brink of cool at 10°C, with a normal long sleeve short underneath. Maybe that will help others decide.
    I really want a queen of spades winter coat, that has some kind of thermo lining or teddy fleece or whatever, something to keep you warm. Hope you'll make winter coats in the future!

    Best coat ever

    This is my second coat, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The quality is so good. I really love it. I only have one issue and that is the sizing. I am a UK 14. So the first one I bought was a size M, UK 14/16. And I found it a very tight fit. So I ordered this one size L UK 18/20. which is a perfect fit, now I can wear a cardigan under it. So I think it’s best to go up a size for a more comfortable fit. I highly recommend rain sisters, their service is amazing and the delivery is so quick. I will be buying another one soon.
