Description

The 'Ruby Purple' fitted and flared coat is a vintage masterpiece in a stunning shade of dark purple. Its fitted upper section gracefully transitions into a long pleated skirt, giving it a timeless and elegant design. This coat is perfect for fancy events and stylish nights out. It effortlessly adds a touch of class to your look, making you stand out.

The first model is 1,80m (5'11”) and wearing size S.

The second model is 1,76m (5'9”) and wearing size XL.

The third model is 1,72m (5'8”) and wearing size L.

Coat details:

  • the fitted upper section and a long pleated skirt,
  • hidden pockets in the side seams,
  • snap button closure,
  • adjustable hood,
  • full body lining from Italian satin in soft pink,
  • the length of the coat from the base of the neck to the hemline (measuring the back of the coat) is 110cm (43.3in) for size XXS up to 115cm (45in) for size 3XL; petite sizes are 7 cm shorter than regular sizes, and tall sizes are 7 cm longer,
  • waterproof (water-resistant) fabric (10’000 mm - not appropriate for heavy showers), warm and breathable (5000gsm),
  • this membrane fabric with an inner fleece layer is more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing this coat in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C (68°F).

Material

Fitted and Flared Coat with Pleated Skirts in Dark Purple

This coat is made from membrane fabric that is water-resistant (10,000 mm), breathable (5,000 gsm), and windproof. The fabric composition is 94% polyester and 6% polyamide. No harmful PFAS was used during the fabric production process.

Please note: The water resistance rating of 10,000 mm means the coat can withstand light rain or snow for 1-2 hours or a moderate shower for about 30 minutes. This coat is not appropriate for heavy rain or showers!

Softshell fabric

This coat is made from softshell fabric. It is thicker than light shell fabric due to the inner fleece layer, which makes this style more appropriate for colder weather. We suggest wearing these coats in temperatures ranging from 0°C (32°F) up to +20°C(68°F).

Lining

As for the inner lining, a high-quality, extra soft, and durable Italian satin (100% polyester) is used. The lining agrees to the OEKO-TEX standard and during the fabric production cycle, the use of water and chemicals is reduced as well as the wastage is avoided.

      Absolutely gorgeous but runs just a tiny bit small for layering

      Absolutely gorgeous coat!! The colour is amazing and the materials as well. You can see and feel the quality and I can tell this coat will last me many years.

      Customer services are also extremely kind helpful and prompt. I would recommend the product and the company.

      The only thing to note is, as the FAQ states, it runs to size for layering. It definitely works to layer over a thin layer such as a dress or a shirt. However, I wasn’t able to fit a light jumper underneath. So I think I may exchange to go up a size, so I can layer just a bit more in colder months, and buy the matching belt so I can cinch in my waist in the cooler months with less on beneath.

      I think the fleece layer would make this unnecessary for some but I’m quite sensitive to cold!

      Perfect raincoat!!

      I love it. The hood is great, the fit is ideal, and the swooshing skirt gives me all the serotonin I need on a rainy day. The lining is well made and warm as well. Can’t recommend it enough!!

      For reference: I am 5ft9” (175cm) wearing the XL - tall coat.

      Perfect for Christmas markets!

      I LOOOOVEEEEE this coat. It's nice and warm, perfect for Christmas markets. I was outside for 2+ hours in 2°C weather and wasn't cold at all (I'm normally cold super easily). I love the flow of the coat and already got some compliments. I first ordered size S, but it was too small so I changed it for size M. Return (to Belgium) was super easy, and they were very nice! I haven't had the chance to test the rainproof aspect of the dress, but the fabric feels very nice.
