Fitted and Flared Coat with Full Circle Skirt in Bright Yellow | 'Yellow Sun'

When I went searching for raincoats, RainSisters were the only ones I found that not only looked cute, but were actually water resistant (at least according to reviews). A few weeks ago, I finally bit the bullet and bought this one, a coat that was in theory my dream rain coat.

It came this week, and I can't lie, I was absolutely smitten (you can see the video below)! It was everything I hoped for and more. The color is bright and happy, just as you would imagine for a yellow raincoat, and the lining is soft and comfortable. The material of the coat is soft and movable, giving it that nice, beautiful look while being comfortable to wear. It even rained today, and it really is unbelievably good at keeping you dry!

The only note I would make is that the sizing trends a bit small. I make my own clothing, so I know my measurements pretty well and compared both the personal measurements and dress measurements from the site before ordering, and found that even with two inches of wiggle-room in the measurements the coat is still snug. Now, I am not very used to fitted clothes, so it might just be a me-thing, but I think it's worth noting just in case! Similarly, though, with the coat being snug, it's important to mention that the snap closures are a champ at keeping the coat snug and on in all types of movement. The coat doesn't even pucker where it is tighter, which is a huge compliment to the quality of these coats.

Another note is that this coat is indeed warm! I live in a high desert climate, where we see very hot temperature and very cold temperature and not much in between. As it is mostly cold here, I wanted a slightly warmer coat, and this does not dissapoint! Wearing this coat is like a nice, cozy hug, and I can really feel that it will keep me nice and warm when the weather starts to go colder in Autumn.

In short, this coat is just perfect, though I may be buying a bigger size to wear when I'm feeling less comfortable with the tighter fit and/or want to wear thicker clothing underneath. Either way, I know that the only place I will be going to buy high-quality, amazing raincoats is RainSisters! The only thing that would make this coat even better is having a warmer-temperature version, as well, so people could wear a happy yellow raincoat all year round!

It is like its made for me. Fits perfect on length, arms(have never had a jacket that is short enough for my arms) I absolutely love it!! Today it was a lot of rain in Bergen, but the jacket held me dry and warm. Best spend money ever!

First off, the customer service is amazing. They’re quick to respond and helpful with their advice. Second, the quality is amazing - you can see and feel it the moment you unravel it. I have been wanting the raincoat in yellow for a year or more, and finally gave in when they restocked. I used to hate the rain, but now I look forward to it so I can wear my raincoat. I’ve never had so many eyes on me before because of how both the design and the color makes me stand out.

I was expecting a rubbery material on the outside in order to be waterproof but it is a softer nicer fabric than expected while still staying waterproof. I was between a size XXS and XS and they advised that I choose the larger size in order to layer clothes underneath. I got an XS which fits on the tighter side but creates a flattering shape. I’m unable to wear layers underneath or else it becomes too tight, but I’m okay with that and actually prefer that. If you want to layer clothes underneath, I’d recommend sizing up one size.

Overall, highly recommended as a long-term investment that will make you feel beautiful, enjoy the rain, and no longer need anymore raincoats or umbrellas.

This is the best rain coat I have ever owned! The color is as rich as pictured on the picture, and quality is out of this world! The coat is fully lined, even the sleeves. And the material they use to create the full bottom is plentiful. They did not skimp on anything, even down to the packaging. It came folded in just a way to minimize wrinkles and it was ready to wear out of the box! Additionally, I have long arms and when I ordered I noticed they had Medium Tall. Those extra inches make it fall perfectly on my arms and a really nice length at the bottom of the coat. This coat is so dreamy, it takes me back to my little girl days where all I wanted to do was SPIN AROUND! And believe me it has more than enough fabric to spin beautifully! This coat is worth every penny!!!

My sons bought me this coat for my birthday 🎂 with the matching belt. The coat is a much brighter yellow 🟡 than I expected but I still love it, makes people smile 😊. The belt is a tie belt, the coat doesn't have belt hoops so I pop it in my pocket when I'm not using it. For reference to pics I'm a size UK 14 height 5'3" wearing size L. Hood is a good big size and has a drawstring to tighten it. Pockets are a bit small in my opinion. Extremely well made. Soft pink satin lining. This is a spring/autumn coat not warm enough for winter unless you later under it. I'm a huge fan of rainsisters coats. The coat was well packaged and promptly delivered. Definitely recommend these wonderful coats.

This coat is a bright, cheerful yellow which certainly will protect you from the rain. The flared coat is extremely well made and lined. It is a lot of fun to wear and is not your usual drab, lifeless raincoat.
The service is exceptional.
